Thanks for the insightful review of the program! I was wondering if you'd be able to provide a rough estimate of what the tuition fees are like for Studio 58. This would help me a lot in planning my finances. Thanks!

When I applied to Studio 58 I had no idea what I was getting into. As a 17 year old wannabe actress, there was a lot I had to learn and the program turned out to be just what I needed. My first year at Studio 58 challenged me intellectually, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The program really grounded me in what I needed to start my career. In my 2nd and 3rd year I developed an interest in directing and the faculty supported me 100%. Kathryn Shaw recommended me for a summer Artistic Directing position and offered me an Assistant Directing opportunity for one of Studio 58's Main Stage shows. To this day, Studio 58 still supports me and sends me notices for opportunities that may be of interest to me. I highly recommend the program and thank them for all their guidance and support.

Studio 58 has one of the best reputations in the country for training young artists to grow and create their own work. I attended the school for three and a half years, and while I met some challenges that were beyond my expectations of the school, of training, of life! I was never unsure of my place there. I was there to learn to be an actor, to be an artist, and that's what I got.
<br />
I think there are always moments when you question what you are doing with your life at any given point, and of course I had that too, but I do not contribute that with the school or the faculty. It was a very difficult program, with many ups and many downs, but as I graduated, I heard the words of our teachers ring through my head. If you can make it through this program, you will make it through the real world of theatre. It's true. Nothing I have come across has been as hard, and yet I always feel 100% prepared and ready to work when I am called to be an actor.
