Hey Ali thanks for the great review. I have applied and got directly into second year, but after reading some forums I started to get second thoughts.

After stumbling across this review I got a second hope! As one mentioned earlier about gear I would really like to know about the faculty. Are the cables taped to the floor, loud a/c units and so on? Or have they really sharpened up the place to make it look good as well as having the correct gear that is up to date with the industry and teachers who care about their students?

The school is expensive, but if it gives all the hands on experience that they claim I can’t see any reason not to apply, as the school has alot of good work posted around the net.

Hey Rig,

By placement programs, do you mean job placement?

If that’s the case, I don’t think VFS explicitly provides internships, etc. Albeit, I know many students who’ve been employed by the school.

That being said, I’ve heard that getting work permits to work in another country can be quite difficult.

Hi Tye,

No, it’s not outdated. You’re using Digi ProToools which is industry standard and everything is there for you to use. Anyone who says their creativity has been stifled due to lack of resources in the department is talking crap in my opinion.

Ali, this was by far the best review I’ve read on this program. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this up! It’s a big help for us who are looking into the program. The only bad review of the school that seemed semi-legitimate was one explaining that a lot of the equipment and facilities were out of date. Did you find this at all?
