Art School Reviews is a community driven review site. If you would like to share your personal experience attending any art schools in Canada, please read through the following guidelines.
Validity and Ownership
To ensure the integrity of all reviews, ASR currently only accepts reviews from soon-to-be graduating degree students (3rd/4th year) or alumni of full-time production programs. We would like all authors to experience most if not all of what their programs have to offer.
ASR requires authors to submit their full names, student numbers, and the programs they have attended. Reviews will not be posted until verification of registration and enrollment is complete. Reviews submitted are the sole property of the author alone. At any time, authors can ask to remove their articles from the database.
Publishing Process
All articles received by ASR will undergo a proofing process. We will only edit grammatical and spelling errors and will NEVER attempt to misconstrue your words. We will also screen for offensive, hateful, and defamatory language.
ASR will then return a finalized version of the review back to the author for acceptance of any changes. If the author accepts the changes, ASR will proceed to push the review to the live site. Users must also submit a 589×319 image to accompany their review. ASR suggests using a picture of yourself or your work, but any uncopyrighted visual graphic is acceptable. Users will be emailed the final link to their review upon completion.
Privacy
We ensure all submitted articles, names, emails, and contact information, will NEVER be sold, traded, or improperly mishandled. We encourage authors to use their real names in their reviews, however, we understand that some may not be completely comfortable with this. For this reason, we allow authors to post their reviews anonymously. ASR assures that reviewers who wish to remain anonymous will have their identity protected.
